This is a wonderful time at the Arts Center and we are still alive, even if the elevator isn't.

Our elevator is still un-operational - which has forced us to postpone any exhibits and events on the 3rd floor. We are running classes in the building and if someone needs handicapped access we will work with the town to find an alternate location for the class.

For many years, the Southborough Cultural Arts Council (SCAC) was responsible for all expenses for the Arts Center building, from oil and electricity to maintenance and repairs. Last year, we realized that our focus was too much on the physical building and not enough on the cultural programs that we wanted to provide to the community. We went to the Selectmen and the Advisory Committee for help. We are very happy that the result of this was the town assumed responsibility for the physical building.
